Monstrously Gorgeous

I recently made some business cards for my fabulous friend, Allegra Beaton and her company Monstrously Gorgeous. She's a master esthetician and she also makes lotions and lip balms. Anyway, here are some developmental things I went with... She said she wanted a bride of frankenstein character...

Allegra liked my vertical concept the most and we went ahead with the design...keeping it simple and recognizable.

She's also working on selling her lotions via her etsy store. When that gets opened I'll make sure to put a link up for it! We're still working with printers on getting a foil stamp on the front of the card for the logo. But we have done plenty of test prints on some of my random drawing paper and Allegra made some for an event she went to and they got a positive reception! I'm happy for her and I wish her luck! We also have future plans on making new sexy Monstrously Gorgeous characters! Hopefully that turns out!  In the meantime, check out Monstrously Gorgeous facebook page! Stay tuned!

Strange Thoughts

I don't know why I did this... or where it came from.

Ralibar Vooz

The protagonist from "The Seven Geases". All in all he was described as someone who was pretty one dimensional...so this was  a real challenge. The best thing to was to try to find how his background effects his clothing....

James Christensen came by to take a look at our characters which was awesome. I don't talk much and I think it's because I like listening and observing and taking things in more than I do the opposite. James speaks passionately and he really let us know what he thought of our designs and he said something very important which was something like, 'take what you think something is supposed to be and then go in the exact opposite direction'.  I'll post those new Ralibar Vooz sketches later.
